Curvy Log Cabin Quilt Class

This is the Curvy Log Cabin Quilt Class!  I took this quilt along and made it into a class for anyone to be able to follow along.

In this online quilt class, we are going to be utilizing the curvy log cabin block to make our quilt.  This block is SO versatile, you can create so many different amazing looks with this one block.  I've got 3 samples that I have sewn to show you the options... AND tons of digital layouts that are included in this class to inspire you.

This is the Moody Moon quilt and features the color A, color B fabric layout.

This is the beginning of my Scrappy Log quilt illustrating how you can use your stash, scraps or a jelly roll to create this look.  I will also illustrate the various layout options with these blocks in our layout video.

This is the diagonal stripe layout features a color A and color B layout, but using a large scale print to create that dynamic look.

All of these quilts are made using the same block.  In the class, I have a pattern ready for you that features 4 different sizes (baby, small lap, large lap, queen).  You can decide which size you'd like to make for the QAL and have the other sizes on hand for future quilts.

Now that you know what the quilt looks like, or could look like (hopefully your inspiration gears are moving!) let's talk about exactly what's included.  I don't want to overwhelm you, but I want you to know exactly what you're getting.

Class includes:

  • PDF Pattern and Supply List
  • Edited video instruction by me for all steps to make the quilt from start to finish.
  • The Melanie's Makers fb page

(Videos will not expire, you will have access to all content indefinitely)

If you sign up for a weekend quilting retreat, they generally cost over $400 plus travel.  Hourly lessons range from $35-$50 per hour.

That makes this course worth at least $500.  My goal is to share what I have learned and help you as much as possible, so I'm committed to keeping costs as low as possible.

This class is a 1 time payment of $39.

*pricing does not include fabric or supplies
